Transforming lives in Bali, Indonesia
Discover our work in Bali, where we provided direct therapy services to special needs students, focusing on essential communication and life skills. Learn about the profound impact we made and our commitment to sustainable support.

Specialized therapies, lasting impact
Our approach in Bali involved highly specialized direct therapy services tailored to each student's needs. Many of these children reside in a school/homestead and had never received such vital support. By focusing on practical skills that enhance communication and daily living, we witnessed remarkable progress, making our work profoundly effective and crucial for their long-term well-being.

Empowering communities through training
Beyond direct therapy, NoNik Global Outreach also trained local assistants and caregivers in Ubud, Indonesia. This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to empower women with sustainable goals and training. By equipping caregivers with these essential skills, we ensure that the support for special needs children continues long after our direct involvement, fostering lasting change within the community.

Making a meaningful difference
In the rural areas of Bali, many special needs students lack access to crucial therapy services. NoNik Global Outreach stepped in to provide direct speech therapy, focusing on sign language skills, feeding, swallowing, and pragmatic skills development. Our goal was to create a more sustainable and fulfilling life for these children, and the impact was truly heartwarming.
"The caregivers of these children were more than pleased to be able to witness the children more engaged and more happy after the specialized trainings. It made a world of difference!"
